14. POLICIES & PROCEDURES

(a)   The P&C Association shall implement and maintain policies and procedures to support compliance with all relevant legislation.

(b)   The P&C Association shall maintain the following policies and procedures as a minimum

                                     i.        child protection,

                                    ii.        management of funds,

                                   iii.        volunteering,

                                   iv.        confidentiality,

                                    v.        privacy and records,

                                   vi.        communication and social media,

                                  vii.        code of conduct

                                 viii.        conflict of interest

                                   ix.         grievance, complaints and feedback

(c)   If the P&C Association employs staff, then policies and procedures shall be created and maintained for recruitment, management and termination of staff and Work Health & Safety.

Policies and procedures must be adopted or approved at a general or special meeting before becoming effective. Seven days' notice is required for adoption or alteration.
